Drill Pipe Protector

The Drill Pipe Protector enable us to provide fully supported solutions that improve drilling performance and completion efficiency by minimizing energy loss caused by wellbore friction, thereby optimizing energy delivery to the bit. As it is used to prevents the metal to metal friction between casing and drill pipes, limits drill string bending and reduces vibration caused by drill string rotation.

APPLICATION

Non-Rotating Drill Pipe Protector, improve drilling performance and completion efficiency by minimizing energy loss caused by wellbore friction, thereby optimizing energy delivery to the bit. They can be a viable solution for challenging conditions encountered in deep directional wells; extended-reach wells; horizontal wells; unplanned doglegs; deepwater riser operations; deepwater sub-salt wells; re-entries and sidetracks, shallow kickoffs; production riser applications; slow, difficult drilling; deep S-shaped wells; underpowered top drives; offset well heads; casing patches; and adverse ocean currents.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

1. Positive protection against casing and riser wear during drilling operations.
2. The Significant torque reduction created by our fluid bearing design, with wear reduction around 20 %, torque reduction around 30%. And field-proven for improved ROP.
3. Compatible with most oil, synthetic- and water-based drilling fluids, having excellent acid/alkali resistance.
4. The wear sleeve is adopted with enhanced PTFE material, with temperature resistance up to 200 ℃.
5. The high wear resistance enable more than 500 hours service time.
6. The product is simple structured, easy for onsite installation, directly mounting it on the drill pipe. Installation time: less than 1 minute.
