Non-Rotating Casing Scraper

The Non-rotating casing scraper is used to remove the residual cement on the inner wall of the casing, the burrs and scales generated by mud and tie, the bullets inserted on the wall of the pipe during the anti-sand perforation in the pipe, and the impurities affecting the normal construction operation such as rust, scale and hard paraffin on the casing of the production well. The non-rotating casing scraper consists of two parts: a scraper and a cleaning brush. The scraper mainly consists of a mandrel, a cutter block, a spring plate, and screws. The cleaning brush mainly consists of a mandrel, a steel wire brush, a nylon brush, and screws. Its structure is shown in the right figure.

APPLICATION
The Non-rotating casing scraper is used to remove the residual cement on the inner wall of the casing, the
burrs and scales generated by mud and tie, the bullets inserted on the wall of the pipe during the anti-sand
perforation in the pipe, and the impurities affecting the normal construction operation such as rust, scale and hard paraffin on the casing of the production well.

mandrel, a steel wire brush, a nylon brush, and screws. Its structure is shown in the right figure.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
1. Non-rotating mode eliminates risk of damaging or wearing casing when rotating drillstring.
2. Scraper can be dressed in rotating or non-rotating modes, by simply relocating a shear ring.
3. Non-rotating cylindrical brush may be installed above scraper blades to optimize performance by allowing scraping then brushing in one run.
4. Hard metal applied to scraping edges on blades to provide endurance and maximum service.
5. Blades provide 360 degree contact with the casing ID.
