Hydraulic oscillator is a downhole tool used to solve the bottom of the well support pressure and improve the transmission of drilling pressure. It is especially suitable for use in horizontal wells and extended-reach wells. It can be used simultaneously with MWDs, downhole power drilling tools, and any drill bit.

The company's hydraulic oscillators, including power components, are made of all metals, and the main parts of the tool do not contain rubber components, which are widely used in various drilling conditions, and can be used completely normally under the conditions of high-temperature wells, oil-based muds, and saltwater formations that are not suitable for work with conventional tools.

When the hydraulic

oscillator works, the hydraulic pulse is converted into mechanical energy, and the axial upward and downward oscillation is achieved by oscillating the short joint. The oscillating stub is connected to the power stub and the upper part of the disc valve assembly, and the axial oscillation is achieved by the internal butterfly spring to absorb and release the impact capacity. The oscillating stub converts the hydraulic pulse capability into mechanical energy in the form of axial vibration, and when each pulse passes through the oscillating stub, it returns to its original state.

Each pulse will produce an amplitude of 3~9mm and a certain axial force, which is enough to convert static friction into dynamic friction. Because the axial forces generated and the axial travel distances are not large, the hydraulic oscillator does not adversely affect other downhole tools during operation.
